The Passion of Marie – Balladen om Marie

Marie Krøyer portrays the life of the Danish painters P.S. Krøyer (Søren Sætter-Lassen) and Marie Krøyer (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen). Marie dreams of being a painter as talented as her husband. The couple lives in high society parties and appears to have the perfect life. However, P.S. is bipolar and syphilitic; and his nervous wrecks becomes more serious. Gradually Marie drifts apart from her husband and on a trip she meets the Swedish composer Hugo Alfvén (Sverrir Gudnason). Marie falls in love with him and will have to choose between her new love or her exuberant life with her husband and daughter.


The Oscar winner for best film short film portrays the relationship between the boy Alfred (Pelle Krusbæk Falk), and Enzo (Casper Crump), the new janitor of the wing where the boy is hospitalized. Alfred loves airships and is admitted to a hospital with a terminal illness and Enzo starts telling him stories about a paradise full of airships.

The Hunt – Jagten

Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen) works in a nursery and tries to regain the custody of his son. Everything seems to fall into place for Lucas, but Klara (Annika Wedderkopp), one of the kids from daycare and the daughter of his best friend has a childhood crush on him. When she feels rejected, she says to the daycare director that Lucas showed her his private parts without understanding the severity of her lie. Even without proof, the city begins to chase him and his life becomes a hell.

Truth About Men – Sandheden om mænd

Mads (Thure Lindhardt) is a screenwriter unhappy with life; he writes scripts for television and lives with his girlfriend for the last 10 years. But, he gives up of everything to find happiness; he leaves his job and breaks up with Marie (Tuva Novotny). From there, ups and downs occur in the life of Mads, until he finds what he is looking for.

 The Keeper of Lost Causes – Kvinden i buret

Carl Mørck (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) was a homicide detective who after a traumatic experience in a gunfight is assigned to the Department Q, a new sector with old cases that should be filed away. His only partner is Assad (Fares Fares). On the first day, Carl instead of filing cases begins to investigate the disappearance of Merete Lynggaard (Sonja Richter) who vanished from a ferry 5 years before. The only witness in the case is the brother of Meretem who has mental problems.
